| What we do |
During the day, the Bay Tree is a nice cozy tea room. At night, it is an ideal place for a quiet intimate dinner.
With only seven tables inside and five outside, we serve good home cooking, all prepared fresh on the premises. Our food is typically English, including Steak dishes, Steak & Mushroom pies, fish and chips and fish dinners. We often provide specials, with recent offerings of Duck Breast on crushed new pototoes with a red wine jus, and Smoked Haddock with a rich, creamy parsley sauce on a bed of minted peas and potoato puree.
The restaurant has a rich history, having been frequented in the past by the famous English painter John Spencer. |
