- Advice on local GP and pharmacy services
- Blood pressure checks
- Coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms
- Emergency contraception
- Hayfever, bites and stings
- Health promotion: diet, exercise
- Information on staying healthy/local services
- Minor cuts and wounds - care, dressings
- Muscle and joint injuries - strains and sprains
- Skin complaints - rashes, sunburn, headlice
- Stomach ache, indigestion, constipation, vomiting and diarrhoea
- Women's health problems, eg thrush, menstrual advice

| Information |
The Slough NHS Walk-in Centre is situated at Upton Community Hospital in the town centre 5 minutes walk from the High Street. The centre serves a resident population of 117,000 plus a high number of workers commuting into the town daily.
Links are established with NHS Direct and an open access dental service will also be based on site. Local health and social care partners are also keen to pilot innovative ways of providing access to services through the NHS walk-in centre.
